Reformed Baptist Radio And Television, What Is It? Have you always wondered what the Reformed Baptist Radio and Television Department is all about?
Maybe you have heard about “Biblical Christianity” a Programme on Radio. Here are answers to your Questions.
How did this ministry start?
• This department was formed when the reformed brethren saw the need of joining hands to reach out using the electronic media. Hence, Reformed Baptist churches are the stakeholders of this ministry.
What is our vision?
• It is to reach as many people as possible with Biblical Christianity, through the electronic media.
How do we hope to achieve our vision?
• To air programmes on Radio and Television
• To install our own studio for programming
• To have our own Radio station
• To have our own Television station
How are we funded?
• As mentioned earlier Reformed Baptist churches and other brethren fund us.
How successful have we been?
• We have reached places where people have never heard of the true gospel. Places like Chilubi Island.
• We have received feedback through telephone calls and letters.
• We have recorded converts.
• We have also managed to acquire a studio for programming.
What are the difficulties?
• Non-availability of funds to support continued running of programmes.
Why should this ministry continue?
• The Lord commands us to go out and preach the gospel.
• We have the light (Biblical Christianity) when the rest are in darkness (ignorance).
• We have gifted preachers.
• We are living in an electronic era, which can be used to share the gospel.
• We have God on our side.

Do we really have money?
If we join our hands as brethren, we can do greater exploits for the Lord. Look at it this way, to air programmes on ZNBC Radio 2 prime time, per quarter it costs K2.8 million which is equivalent to $560 US Dollar. We only need 280 brethren from Reformed Baptist Churches each contributing K10000.00 per month. But if we give according to God’s blessing the sky is the limit.
Most importantly, this ministry is about faith, we may not have money, not know where it will come from, but one thing we know, men and women of different tribes and nationalities, must be evangelized. How this will be accomplished, the captain, the Lord Jesus Christ knows. Therefore, ours is to be faithful to our calling and with what we have been given. When we are in want we will send an “SOS” to the captain for more supplies. Surely the Lord will not deny us, the answer may tarry, but surely it will come.
